Ribston House

The accommodation comprises four ground floor bedrooms with en-suite facilities with showers/ wet rooms and / or hi-lo bath and full hoisting tracking systems in each of the rooms. There are a further four bedrooms on the first floor with a combination of bath, showers/wet rooms. There are facilities to install tracking if required.

Facilities include a sensory room, hydro pool and an activity room. There is a separate lounge and dining area on each floor with lifts to the first floor. The house is surrounded by a fully enclosed back and side garden.

The aim of Ribston House is to provide quality, facilitative support and care within a community setting, primarily for adults with profound and multiple learning disabilities. Ribston House is able to cater for those with moderate behavioural problems as part of its service and offers long and short term placements to both male and females aged from eighteen upwards.  We recognise that needs can change but will endeavour to provide a service for our people for a lifetime.

Ribston House is situated within a local community on the popular Stroud Road in Gloucester. It is within easy reach of the city centre for community amenities, including GL1, Gloucestershire College, and the Docks for leisure, social and educational facilities.nt

The Home Manager is supported by an experienced staff team backed by Senior Management Team. All staff employed with Ribston House are provided with continuous and on-going training to meet the specialist needs of our individuals. Training can be tailored for new individuals according to their needs.
