The home is a tastefully restored and updated Victorian detached house, situated in a residential suburb but within walking distance of the city centre of Gloucester.
Local facilities abound and the service users group are encouraged to take a full and active part within the community. There are facilities within the area to cater for every need and participation is actively encouraged.
Emphasis is given to providing a warm, welcoming home to service users for as long as they wish to stay.
The home is managed by Caroline Hopkinson, Level 4 and RMA and a CBT therapist. She has wide experience within the field of learning disabilities. Fern Croft is staffed by an empathetic and caring staff group, backed up by a wider senior and management support team. All staff undertake regular statutory and specialist training to ensure that they meet the needs of the individual.
Providers, service users and families are invited to contact Caroline Hopkinson, Care Manager to enquire about placements and current vacancies.
